The Red-Leaf Japanese Maple Tree also known as the (Acer palmatum 'Atropurpureum') possesses delicate cut, brilliant ruby-red leaves in spring time, giving way to darker maroon then purple as summer progresses. Colors appear brighter in the sun. The red-leaf maple is a small landscape tree used in more formal gardens and courtyards. Perfect for large deck planters. This tree grows about 6 to 10 inches per year and has a low temperature tolerance leavel of -20 degrees Fahrenheit. Tree arrives at a height of 8" to 14", is 2 to 3 years old, and comes with detailed care and planting instructions.
