The Giant Sequoia (also goes by the alias Giant Redwood) is an impressive addition to large landscape areas. Giant sequoias are the largest trees ever to inhabit the earth (reaching heights of 325 feet with a 30 foot diameter), and among the oldest. This tree is very shade tolerant and can withstand poor soil. Grows 12 to 24 inches per year.
