The Chinese evergreen, or Aglaonema, first traveled to the United States from the Southeast Asian rainforest around 1900. It boasts handsome, 10 inch, spear-shaped leaves. We chose to put these plants in rustic-looking, metallic containers that intensify the richness of the greenery.
